Both the 1HP and 2HP chillers give you a full temperature range from 3°C to 42°C. The difference is in performance: the 2HP chiller is designed for commercial settings or heavy, frequent use where higher cooling demands are required, while the 1HP is ideal for home use.

Yes. The Origin Cold Plunge is built with an XL oversized upright design, making it comfortable for almost all body types and heights. Unlike bathtub-style plunges that feel cramped, the upright layout allows taller users to fully submerge without awkward positioning.

The Origin Cold Plunge is designed to be low-maintenance but should be cared for like a pool or spa. This means keeping up with regular water treatment, skimming the surface with a net, and monitoring water quality. Other key maintenance includes: * Paper filter: Replace once per month under normal use. In high-traffic spaces, replacement may be required once per week. * Inner metal filter: Wash each time you replace the water. * Water changes: Replace the water about once per month. In high-traffic spaces, you may need to change it weekly depending on users’ pre-plunge hygiene practices. With consistent care, the built-in filtration and ozone sanitation keep your plunge fresh and clean with minimal effort.

The Origin Cold Plunge includes a 2-year warranty on both the tub and the chiller. This covers defects in materials and workmanship, ensuring long-term reliability and peace of mind. We have an Australian-based repair centre, and if your chiller cannot be repaired, we will simply replace it as part of an approved warranty claim. For all approved claims, Psycle covers freight costs to and from the repair centre.

The Origin Cold Plunge runs from a standard 240V 10A power outlet — the same as most household appliances. No special wiring is required, though we recommend using a dedicated outlet for best performance.

The Origin Cold Plunge is highly efficient, costing just $0.25 – $1 per day. Once your set temperature is reached, the chiller enters power-saving mode — circulating and filtering the water without the compressor running, and only re-activating when the temperature drifts a few degrees. By comparison, cooling 500L with ice would cost $50+ every plunge.
