We simply built the sauna we wish existed.

Saunas and ice baths are sold as detox tools. Sweat out the heavy metals, recover faster, sleep better. We were sold on it too. We used them daily and felt the difference.

Then we looked at what they're made of. Laminated offcuts pressed together with adhesive. Chemical finishes. A plastic knob on the heater. A passive vent that barely moves air, so you sit in a rising cloud of CO2 and whatever the glue is giving off at 90°C. Public facilities add chlorine on top.

That's the paradox. The tool you bought to lower your toxic load is adding to it, an hour at a time.

So we built the one we wanted. Japanese cedar and stainless steel in the heat zone, with no glue, no filler, no plastic and no synthetic finish. An active ventilation system, because a hole in the wall doesn't count. Bench height, headspace and heater placement to Finnish sauna rules, so the heat works the way it should. Amber and red light only, because a recovery tool shouldn't fight your sleep.

Everything we make is held to that standard. If it goes in the cabin, we'd be happy to breathe it.
